Sports and Recreation Association (SRA) Membership
All non-ANU students are required to join the SRA at an additional cost of $110. This membership is very important for insurance purposes. Players must show proof of membership before Round 1 on the 28/29 March. Join up at the ANU SRA building (the gym).
Goalies who provide ALL their own equipment do not pay fees
Life members do not pay fees

Training
Information about training is available at Womens_training
Uniforms
- A royal blue skort for all players (available through the property officer at training)
- White playing shirt with blue collar and sleeve trim (available from the property officer at training)
- Royal blue socks with 2 thin white stripes at turnover (available at Adrenalin Rush, Lyneham Hockey Centre)
- Uniforms will be available to try on at the Grading Day and the first 2 training sessions.
Terri our fantastic property officer will be at trainings to make sure you are kitted out in the correct gear. All players must be in full uniform by round 3.
Match Reports
This year, our web wizards have created a new feature for your enjoyment on this website. Instead of publishing the often-amusing match reports in each newsletter, we now have a wonderful new feature for the creation of our match reports right here.
I strongly encourage all teams to contribute – one of the women’s club members won the highly prestigious ANU Hockey Club’s Geoff Thompson Award for Sports Journalism (awarded for both the men’s and women’s club) – a big congratulations to our regular reporter from the Ladies on Grass side, “Hey Miss” - Karen Longmuir.
If you have anything you think the club needs to know – please send an email through to me (Suz) at anuwhc@gmail.com by COB on Wednesdays (I usually put the newsletter together and send it out on Wednesday nights).
Preliminary squad gradings
Please see below fpr the preliminary gradings. Only players that have registered online have been placed in a team. We have done our best but there were lots of new faces and we may have got it muddled. If you think you have been misgraded please come and see one of the Exec or one of the coaches at training. Please note we have not yet confirmed the grading for the goalies.
