Registration requirements
To play for ANU Men's hockey club you must be registered with two organisations:
1. The club itself; and
2. The ANU Sport and Recreation Association (SRA).
These are separate registrations and you are responsible for ensuring that both are in order before playing for the club. The following deals with the two requirements in turn
1. Club Registration

Completing this form will let us know that you intend to play with us in season 2010, and we will use the details you supply to contact you.
Please register for the club as early as possible so that we can manage how many teams we enter. Absolutely make sure you do it before grading day (ie by end February).
2. SRA Membership
We are a university club, and the SRA provides a generous level of support for us to provide hockey opportunities for ANU students, graduates and staff. In order to be affiliated, we need to meet SRA registration requirements.
Students - you are automatically registered with the SRA, and your student ID is their SRA number. To meet SRA registration requirements, just make sure you let the Treasurer know that you are an ANU student and supply your current student ID number.
All other club members, including students of other institutions - you must register with the SRA to play for the club. This involves filling out a form and paying $110. It is your responsibility to make sure this happens, and you are at risk of non-selection if we find you haven't done this by 1 May (rd 4).
This season the Mens' club will be collecting ANU SRA fees ($110) and forms for Men's club members. All you need to do, is to pay the $110 to the club and fill out and sign one of the forms below. Please provide signed hard copy forms (or signed pdf scans) to either the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer or your team captain.
- If you have already joined the SRA or do not want the club to sign you up, you must advise a Treasurer of your current SRA number.
Forms (click on the relevant link):
Staff and Graduate membership - for club members who are graduates of the ANU, work for the ANU, or who have graduated from a tertiary institution other than the ANU. Some of the fields on the forms are not applicable for renewals (eg proof of graduation and the photo).
Associate membership - for all other club members - that is, current students from other universities and any other non-student members who are not graduates of any university. Please tick the appropriate box (Note: for non-student members who do not fall within any of the listed categories we will need to provide information about why you are a ‘Significant Contributor’ - the Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer can confirm this on the form).

CL1-3 Training:
8:30pm - 9:30pm Tuesdays, Carter Field, Lyneham Hockey Centre (fitness from 7:30pm)
6:00pm - 7:00pm Thursdays, Powell Field, Lyneham Hockey Centre

Men's fees for 2010
ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE BY: Saturday 1st May (Round 5)
1. Fee amounts
Club fees:*
Turf
$300 - ANU students
$400 - all non-students and students from other institutions
Grass
$130 - ANU students
$170 - all non-students and students from other institutions
* These amounts all include a $100 club membership fee to cover our overheads, with the balance covering your playing fees. Life members of the club are eligible to have the club membership fee waived.
ANU Sport and Recreation Association Fee:
$110 - payable by all members who are not current ANU students.*
* NOTE: The club can collect ANU SRA fees and forms from players, instead of players having to go into the ANU gym individually to join the SRA. Please see the SRA membership section above on this page for forms and info.

2. Fee payment policy
All fees must be paid by the due date or players will be ineligible to be named to play for the club. Players who think they will be unable to make a fee payment should contact the Treasurer in advance, who will be only too happy to sort out an alternative payment regime.
3. Payment methods

Please make sure you leave a suitable narration so we can identify your payment. Your name and the word 'fees' is a good suggestion, and even just a bit more detail would really help, such as 'John Smith, Grass and SRA Fees'. This will allow the treasurer to identify that the payment belongs to you and is for some or all of your fees, rather than for social event tickets, donations or anything else.
You can also pay over the bar at the Hockey Centre, or in some other way by arrangement with the Treasurer.
